I love my new west coast home, replete with desert dance parties, funky glitch hop, nasty electro-breaks, flame throwers, fun fur, and mobile glowing spaceship dj booths, I also love the new EDM concerts with crazy LED shows, super technical visuals and pyrotechnics, and dj booths worth 6 figures. But ultimately, I’m an east-coast party kid that grew up on minimal, hard techno, and jackin house. Give me Ben Sims in an abandoned detroit warehouse […]

Today’s DIY courtesy of P.S. I made this. I’ve gotten a lot of project ideas from them over the years. Def great for beginner DIYers. Well this was quite the year in terms of personal development. Still a ways to go, particularly professionally and financially, but I’m looking forward to the new year as I’ve worked very very hard to build a stable foundation for myself. Off to a jungle party tonight, then likely to the CoZo and a proper catch up with my old crew. Believe it or not, in oh 14 years of partying, mostly in the GTA, […]

First off, I was initially stoked when they released their first swimsuits and dresses with digital prints of sound equipment. Initially. But really? You just showed “The DJ’s Wife Collection. ” Ok, maybe I just get my feathers REALLY ruffled when I get subtle and not-so-subtle messages enforcing gender and hetero-normative roles. […]
